MAISIE HAMMOND
We are sorry to report that Maisie Hammond who was the driving force of the Consort for so many years passed away on 22nd March 2012 following a battle with Motor Neurone Disease. You will be able to see from the various pages in this web-site that Maisie was a well loved and respected Musical Director for the Consort. Having been a Music Teacher most of her life, she has seen many of her pupils progress and succeed in their chosen instruments. She will be sorely missed and our hearts go out to John and the rest of her family.

Cornelis Taekema (standing on the right) has been the Consort's Musical Director since Maisie Hammond moved away from Kent in 2003.
